Snes9express is a desktop application that provides a graphical user interface for the X11 version of the Snes9x Super Nintendo game console emulator.
It was developed at a time when the X11 version of Snes9x did not have a GUI of its own and could only be run from the command line.
Snes9express was developed primarily to run on
Linux operating systems with the X Window System (X11).
It may also run on BSD operating systems but without gamepad configuration.
